Stretching & Mobility
When tissues in the body such as muscles, tendons, and fascia become tight, it causes increase tension to be placed on them as we move – eventually making movement feel uncomfortable and even painful.
The increased tension is the ideal condition for some of the most common injuries we see to occur, including tendinitis, bursitis, impingement, and muscle strains. Luckily stretching regularly can prevent these issues.
Sounds pretty easy, just stretch a little every day, right? But the truth is that the discipline and time required to consistently stretch is challenging for most people.
The PARC stretching program makes stretching as easy as showing up!
Our staff use a variety of techniques including static, passive, active-assistive, and proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF) techniques.
We offer stretching packages of 30-60 minute sessions, from 1-3 stretches weekly, so you can choose what is best for you! Contact Premier Athletic Rehab today to get started.
