Allison Lacayo
(PT, DPT, AIB-VRC)
Dr. Allison Lacayo, began her healthcare career after earning a bachelor’s degree in Recreational Therapy and Psychology from Florida International University in 2020. She went on to complete her Doctor of Physical Therapy at FIU in 2024 because apparently one degree just wasn’t enough.
She is a licensed physical therapist across four East Coast states, with experience spanning orthopedics, neurology, and return-to-sport rehabilitation. She is also certified in vestibular therapy, with a clinical focus on vestibular disorders and post-concussion care, while maintaining a strong foundation in orthopedics
During her doctoral training, Dr. Lacayo completed her clinical rotations with PARC in 2024, where it quickly became clear she was a natural fit for the team and we knew we had to keep her.
Dr. Lacayo takes an evidence-based approach to care and believes that movement is medicine. She prioritizes sessions that are personalized, educational, and engaging, helping patients better understand their bodies and recovery.
She loves to BUMP up her patients’ spirits, SET them on the path to recovery, and SPIKE their progress to new heights. And yes, you guessed it on her off time, she’s all about volleyball, yoga, and hiking!
